I work right down the road from this business and thought I would give it a try. I called to see if they had a website so I could see a menu because a co-worker was going to get pick it up. Our conversation -
Me Hi, do you have a website?
Lady with foreign accent I don't think so. I don't know anything about computers.
Me Ok. Is there
Lady cuts me off I am very busy and don't have time to talk to you about stuff like that!!
Me (shocked) That was very rude. I don't think I'll ever be eating at your restaurant.
Lady That's fine with me.

I'm still a little shocked by how short and unbelievably rude she was to me. Not only do I live and work in the area, but I grew up here too. I don't have a problem letting everyone I know what a crappy attitude they have. Too bad cause I could have been a good repeat customer.

This is a great little cafe with a nice coffee bar. Anna, the owner/Italian pastry cook, runs and prepares the home-style soups, sandwiches and pastries. Her soup of the day includes authentic minestrone and a creamy cheese soup plus others. Anna is Italian so she knows what she's doing. Her zuppa inglese cake is the best, rich yet light, it is luscious. Other pastries include various pies, cannoli, and tirimisu cake and cookies, you can order whole cakes for pick up. She is open early daily, except Sunday, and has evening hours on Friday & Saturday.
